Gynzy is an interactive whiteboard tool that gives the teacher numerous variety of activities that allow students to learn while interacting with technology. There are numerous presentations and activities already created for the teacher to use, or the teacher can use various formats to create something they wish. It is also versatile because it has numerous interactive whiteboard tools for grades K-12, and it accommodates most school subjects. Gynzy allows for teachers to make interactive presentations on an online whiteboard, and they can make full presentations if they please. It allows for hands-on learning, which allows students to actively participate and interact with the presentation or activity.
How can I use Gynzy?
Gynzy can be used for various purposes in the classroom. It can be used as an interactive presentation for a lesson. As teachers present the lesson, students can perform activities on Gynzy as well. It also has numerous activities available that were already made by other teachers. For Social Studies, there are many activities, including interactive map activities to test students' knowledge, and there is a matching game to correctly identify former United States Presidents. Finally, teachers can create their own activities on Gynzy. For example, I created a game show on the Civil War. Therefore, I designed a fun way of assessing students on Civil War knowledge. It would work great as a review game before a test.
Which Domain of the Danielson Framework does Gynzy Correlate with?
Since Gynzy is so versatile, it can correlate with many components in the Danielson Framework. However, from the game show I created, Gynzy correlates best with Component 1F: Designing Student Assessments because teachers are giving students a preview of what the upcoming assessment will look like. Teachers can even use potential test questions in the review game to prepare their students on the types of questions that will be asked on the exam. Since the game show is open-ended, teachers can use a variety of formatted questions to help students think through their learned knowledge. Using Gynzy as a game show, students receive a preview of what their upcoming assessment will be like!
