In component 1F, teachers must be able to effectively assess students of the learning that occurred. Therefore, assessments should help teachers see if and how much students learned the intended outcomes of the lessons. Also, these assessments should display the various outcomes through various questions that are higher-up in Bloom's taxonomy. Assessments must be modified for students with needs to give each student a fair examination of their understanding of the material. When using assessments for learning, teachers incorporate assessment into learning, often through formative assessments. These assessments help teachers monitor their students' progress and understanding of the learning outcomes from the lesson. Teachers should reflect on their assessments, both formative and summative, to see how effective they were in measuring student's learning and progress of the learning outcomes. Great teachers then modify their assessments to best assess students' learning.
